Stacie is a lover of the outdoors and feels most comfortable on the water whether in a canoe, kayak or cabin cruiser. She has logged countless hours and miles paddling and camping on rivers, lakes and ponds of several states. Her expertise is in backwoods cooking using various natural mediums to cook up a scrumptious meal.  No need for pots and pans when rocks, sticks and moss are readily available!  She’ll teach the campers how to cook over a campfire using several survivalist strategies that they will remember for a lifetime all while gaining confidence, self-esteem and pride in accomplishing a task that may seem impossible at first glance. Stacie’s background is in engineering and mathematics.  She currently lives in South Burlington, VT.

​Stacie was a 2022 camp counselor and is volunteering this season as a camp gnome, supporting the 2023 counselors with her fabulous cooking skills and positive attitude.

Stephanie is a Registered Nurse with extensive ICU and Emergency Department clinical experience and significant medical leadership experience. She is most at home in the outdoors participating in ice climbing, rock climbing, snow boarding, kayaking, canoeing and backpacking. She has covered hundreds of miles and spent months in the deep wilderness backpacking on the AT and the LT and paddling the Northern Forest Canoe Trail through NY, VT, NH and Maine. Her passion is wilderness survival skills, primitive skills and self-reliance. She teaches youth how to respectfully find and creatively use what nature can supply by empowering them to trust and rely on their inner strengths, awareness and resilience.  Stephanie lives in Hyde Park VT with her husband, son and spoiled dog.

Isa was one of the neighbor's daughters first taken to Green River Reservoir in 2017. Now she is a rising sophomore with a love of water, nature, and a boat load of excitement.
