Celebrating recent grant and fundraising partnership

Water Wanderings named Charitable Grant Fund recipient!

Water Wanderings’ fundraising season is off to a serendipitous start! We were recently named one of the recipients of the Outdoor Gear Exchange’s 2022 Charitable Grant Fund which provides us with $1,000 to spend on gear at wholesale prices. It will allow us to fill in a few remaining pieces to complete our gear needs, including important upgrades such as camp knives so that campers don’t bring their own unsafe ones.

UVM FeelGood Collaboration raises $203 with surplus food! 

We had our first collaborative fundraiser with UVM FeelGood, a student-run organization dedicated to raising funds to end world hunger through the sale of grilled cheese. This summer, we had an excess of bread and cheese, as well as most of the ingredients needed to make cookies thanks to the generous donations we received from Cabot Creamery, City Market, Green Mountain Peanut Butter, Vermont Creamery, and Nitty Gritty Farm. UVM FeelGood organized a special sale for Water Wanderings and raised $203 in total from the event. Many thanks to their volunteers who made it an effortless partnership!
