A: Water Wanderings is an experiential summer camp focused on ecology, outdoor skills, sustainability, equity, community, art. Q: Where is Water Wanderings hosted? A: The Green River Reservoir is our home and outdoor classroom, where campers live in tents, cook on the campfire, swim, play, and learn together. Q: What do campers learn? A: Our curriculum covers five key areas: local ecology, outdoor skills, equity and community, art and creativity, and sustainability. Every day, campers play games and share activities that deepen their skills and awareness about important issues. Without modern distractions, there are SO many opportunities to learn and grow. Q: Why should I send my camper to Water Wanderings? A: Going to camp is a special experience that campers will remember for years. It is an opportunity to be in a new environment where campers can make connections, discover more about themselves, and learn about the natural world around them. "Water Wanderings is beyond a great conceptual and hands-on learning space for youngsters, truly unique in itself. My daughter talks about it anywhere we go with pride and excitement." - 2018 Water Wanderings Parent Q: How much does Water Wanderings cost? A: The cost of attending camp is based on a sliding scale. The scale has six registration fee levels based on adjusted gross annual income. It is designed to not put a disproportionate burden on families with limited financial means.
